Back in August, after our Next Gen Praying Together time following the Seeking Together event, a few of our pastors started an email chain with youth leaders from across Michigan. It was such a meaningful moment of connection, and we’re excited to continue building on that momentum!

We’re hosting another Zoom call on May 4th at 7PM to reconnect, dream together, and set some goals for how we can strengthen relationships and collaboration among youth ministries throughout the conference. Encounter Weekend May 15-16

We’re excited to announce the very first Shoreline Encounter Weekend, coming to Milan FMC on Friday & Saturday, May 15–16!

ENCOUNTER is an in-person worship, prayer, and training experience designed to equip you with practical strategies for multiplication. You’ll learn how to plant churches, launch new ministries, and spark a disciple‑making movement in the everyday spaces where people live, work, and gather.

This Shoreline Encounter weekend will offer a unique focus on Discipleship, with  training geared toward starting new small groups—not just launching new churches

It’s a unique opportunity to shape the future of our region through intentional disciple‑making.

MISSION IGNITER COACH CERTIFICATION May 18-19, 2026

 
Research affirms that coaching is essential to equipping leaders, whether it’s in a multiplication community context or investing in a leader walking through their unique ministry calling. Thriving movements are fueled by leaders who are supported, sharpened, and strategically guided. Mission Igniter’s Coach Certification training is designed to equip leaders to provide contextualized coaching. Participants will gain a clear coaching philosophy, practical tools, and proven practices to effectively guide leaders in their unique ministry settings.
 
One recent participant shared,  “Mission Igniter’s coaching certification was the most practical training I have ever received. The five-step guide in “The Coach Model” clearly articulates the coaching process and provides a tool that keeps sessions focused and meaningful.
 
If you’re ready to strengthen leaders, multiply impact, and foster sustainable growth, this training is for you.
The in-person training will be held at:
Williamston Free Methodist Church,
4400 N. Williamston Rd.,
Williamston, MI 48895.
 
No cost for pastors/leaders from the Shoreline Conference; General Admission is $500 per leader.
 
Training times are:  Monday-9 am-5 pm; Tuesday-9 am-1 pm
